2BR Shoreside Retreat w/ Beach Access & Interiors

Everything was lovely. The short walk to the lake was beautiful

It is an ideal location to the beach, nice neigborhood, and comfortable accomodations! Perfect summer stay! Positive: This is the third stay at this home and would come back in a heartbeat . 5 houses from the lake on a quiet street with plenty of parking in the middle of the summer: priceless! The charm of the cottage home has uneven floors, yet all the comforts for an amazing stay. Kitchen well stocked with all serving and cooking items. Coffee makers, hot water pot, toaster, microwave and oven. Giant fridge! Plenty of space for cooking and serving. The bed was comfortable and the bunk beds cute but we did not need them. AC and heat both needed during our stay and worked great. Good amount of seating space too. Linens were ample in supply. We are grateful for the second bathroom - both showers were great and hot water never disappointed after busy days! The new washer and dryer kept us ahead on laundry. The yard is small - we did not use it, but used the front, paved driveway for a gathering with camp chairs, which was perfect for a summer evening. There were a few maintenance issues that came up that our host, Alida, quickly responded to. Future guests may wish to bring coffee and food basics to get started. And sand toys for the beach, as they are not provided. Another major plus: friendly neighbors that did not make us feel like guests but instead, welcomed! The street is generally quiet, even with hot days and beach seekers walking by. A gem of a property and grateful for our hosts renting it out to us! See you next year!! Negative: A few maintenance items but accepting it is a beach cottage and the owner was very responsive to our requests.

Perfect place wonderful location and extremely relaxing. We will be back!!!

We were in the area to see my daughter play college athletics. Love being this close to the Lake. Beach was amazing . Beach access just a few houses away.House was just as pictured. Comfortable with everything you would need. Was surprised there wasn't any shampoo and soap in the shower but I knew there was a store close by. Communication and access was very easy.
