Positive: This was our 3rd stay and it was great. Great deck offerign great mountain and golf course veiws.
Negative: We stayed in the summer and it got a little warm inside with only one AC unit. We opened the windows for air flow and it helped but was still a little warm.

I absolutely loved our stay at the Hideout Ft. Abajo Cabin. The cabin felt cozy, quiet, and tucked away, while still being close enough to town to make everything easy. The views were fantastic, sitting out on the deck overlooking the golf course with the Abajo Mountains in the background was one of the best parts of the stay.Inside, the cabin had a warm, lived-in charm with lots of interesting items, history, and personal touches throughout. It felt much more inviting than a generic rental. The coffee was ready to go, which was a great little touch, and I really enjoyed using the fireplace both in the evening and again in the morning. It gave the whole place that perfect peaceful mountain-cabin feel. This is a great spot if you’re looking for a quiet getaway, a comfortable base for exploring the area, or just a place to slow down and enjoy the scenery. Cozy, private, beautiful views, and full of character. We would definitely stay here again. Oh and it's dog friendly!
